Morin was the biggest surprise for me last night. The kid moves the puck very well, skates very well, and is VERY poised. He doesnt sit on the puck or hold it too long.. gets it moves it or shoots it. His shot isnt Chara like, but the stuff about him not having a shot is BS. The physical comparisons to Pronger are money. He looks and skates and moves like Pronger.. just needs to bulk up a bit. Hopefully this kid pays off in the long term.

More than once he skated the puck out of trouble by reversing or changing direction before making simple passes. He did show some poise, looks like he has a good slap shot.

One thing I did notice is that he needs to work on his quick release for shots from the point. A few times instead of wristing or snapping a shot he would wind up and get blocked.

He drifted out too high a few times in the defensive zone, but stuff like that is easily fixed.

I am encouraged.
