OK.
One of these sleeves is not like the other. - AllInForFlyers
Maybe one is inside out and the other isn't. Happens to me all the time. It's very uncomfortable and routinely frustrating. My wife has to help occasionally when I don't notice. |

I want lukin back at this point. He brought balance to the Force. He's like Mordenkainen and the powers of Concordant Opposition. - Flyskippy
Yep, there's too much anger and not enough crazy on the thread these days. Crims is a rare breath of fresh air although his entertainment value is low here in comparison to real life. He can bring the crazy in real life. |

Please post often and add as much opinion and light hearted farce as you want.
The difference of opinion is what makes this place worthwhile.
If everyone always agrees that would suck. - Marc D
Disagreement is awesome, and what makes anything interesting. Its not at all what I was talking about though. People should not be ridiculed for posting their opinions because they don't agree with yours.

we could stand a bit more levity and brevity (maybe cut the debates from 9 pages to 2) |

Whatever they do. I think he'll get two games. Pretty much what I thought when they drafted him at 11. They'll want a brief look. - mayorofangrytown
Good possibility that the Salary Cap and what they have to do, to be cap compliant coming out of camp, will prevent that. |

According to a few of the articles I've read on Laughton he has 9 games this year again so it's not cumulative apparently, it's season by season. - mayorofangrytown
I don't beleive that to be the case. If Laughton plays one game in the NHL, it starts the clock on his EL deal. |

I much preferred it when it was hockey and fun talk and not "Who can be the most correct, haughty, and aggrandize one's self while belittling those of differing opinions." It's one thing to correct errors and another to frame others' opinions as fact and attack them while crying when the same is done conversely.
I miss the days of the Buzzgates.
I'm off. Probably should have stayed away today. I feel like I've gone from face to heel. |

I thought he had no games. From everything I've heard, he doesn't get a tryout this year. - jmatchett383
I've been living my life under the impression that, on a slide contract, you get those 9 games each year.... |

morin=pronger...so obvi after one exhibition game. we don't need tim's opinion or anything else.
i think the thing that will be the key to his success here will be improving his english. for example, his teammates need to know whether he is saying "we" or "oui"...stuff like that.
also, it will be important for equipment managers to not misspell his name because we don't want him to think he's a moron. not that there's anything wrong w/ them but...that's quite a burden to bear for a kid to be accused of being insensitive or having to deal w/ a constituency group like PETM.
finally, morin should not be considered for the captaincy until he has a hot, blond wife and he's proven he can steal pucks from the opposition's warm up assortment.

I think Holmgren was asked this at the Town Hall Meeting and said he had no games since he played 5 last year (pro-rated tryout games per the lockout). I could be wrong though. |

I've read it several times. That's all I have. Someone in the know would have to clarify. All I could do is point out the articles and that doesn't make the writers correct. |
