Very much like what I've seen so far tonight from Morin and Manning. Both look very cool under pressure and in Morin's case that is very impressive.

Late in that period you can see what Streit can do in the offensive zone...some nice puck handling skills and creativity

Hartnell-Vinnie-Simmonds would not be a fun line to defend against! Some big boys out there.

Morin made acouple small mistakes, but overall he was very good. This kid has huge potential!

OK fair enough. So, if we take a group of undrafted players, differences in the amount of personal attention they get, the number of chances they get from the org to prove their worth, and the overall level of attention and opportunity they receive will have no bearing on how many of them make NHL rosters. Their die has been cast when they were not drafted. No amount of extra attention or additional opportunity will result in more of the players from that group making an NHL roster. Is that what you are saying you believe? Seems like it.

No, you've totally misread what I've said. I haven't come close to stating that their die has been cast when they were not drafted. I have no idea how you could get that from what I've said. They have to earn their chances. And regardless of where a player was drafted, or not drafted, if the player is good enough. Someone will notice, and the player will get an opportunity. And if they earn that chance with their play, they will get more attention and notice. I don't believe that a player is stopped from making the NHL due to the lack of attention they get.
