Final
Kingston Frontenacs - 11
Peterborough Petes - 4 |

Dilfer signed with the team that had the best defense in the league, so long as he managed to get them 14 points, they generally won.
In the Super Bowl Era, McNabb is easily the best Eagles QB. He put up good numbers, won playoff games and got his team deep in the playoffs every year, with a receiving corps that was mediocre on it's best day.
He wasn't perfect, but neither were his teams or his coach for that matter. - Jsaquella
Not running the ball enough against the Buccaneers still really pisses me off. 18 runs 46 passes against one of the best pass defenses in NFL history. Raiders were there to be beaten. Ugh. |

Well these were some of 2014 prospects in the game.
Kingston
Roland McKeown (4A) - ISS ranking #10
Sam Bennett (1G - 1A) - ISS ranking #12
Spencer Watson (1G) - not in the ISS rankings
Peterborough
Nicholas Ritchie (1G), stayed glued to the bench after dumb penalty mid 3rd period - ISS ranking #13 |

Can only assume after watching the Eagles for the last one and a half games, that the Redskins are the worst football team ever assembled. Only possible way you could lose to this train wreck of a team. Man do they look awful tonight... |

Thank goodness that the Chiefs offense is inept tonight, or this game would be a blowout.

They shouldn't retire McNabb's jersey...they should see if his arm is feeling ok |

Vick is so overrated. Trent Cole is up to his early season dominance, but will disappear in week 9-11. Just going to take time to repair the talent gap damage done by the prior regime. |

Zero argument from me, I wanted Vick gone after last year. Cole's at the point where he should be a situational guy to keep him fresh. |

That's the real issue. They get great value in the first round, and always seem to find some value in the later rounds-the Wellwoods, Rinaldos, etc.
But rounds 2-4 are generally a wasteland |

In most drafts yes, last year wasn't likely one of those years. |

When drafting players like Goulbourne in the 3rd rd do you really expect them to be successful? |

FWIW My 2 cents on a few topics
Retired numbers/Ashbee: I think those of you who are too young to remember Ashbee may be selling him a bit short. Would his # be retired if he hadnt died tragically? Probably not. But he was a true heart and soul player, Lappy would be a good comparison, who played through tremendous pain and he was the best dman on the club during the early Bullies era. Ashbee was the conscience of that Bullies team and without his grit and leadership, Imnot sure if they would have been the same
McNabb: To me, a player should be truly great to have his number retired. For the Eagles that would be playersvlike Chuck Bednarik or Reggie White. McNabb was very good, but I don't consider him a great player nor do I think his # should be retired.
Flyers D: by all means if they can get cap compliant and get Pronger onto LTIR without moving Mez or Grossmann than they should keep them both for now. Even if the D stays relatively healthy this year, some other team won't and thats the time to make a move: when the OTHER team is desperate.
And finally: as of today I have lost over 50lbs and my waist has gone from 43" to 36"!! I am one happy puppy!!! - BiggE
Good work Bigg E! I'm down 61 so far. And isn't it amazing how good you feel? (I'm extrapolating!) |
