So basically, you're guessing, its not actually the final roster, because Weise will be in more often than not...and he will more than likely be in on opening night (his suspension is over so to say he's still suspended is wrong as of tonight)

Santorelli has stood out (in a good way) in the games that I've seen.

It's only a picture, but it is what I was curious about with Torts and "most" of the soft players on the Canucks (not a dig, same as other teams...we all have them). I think we will see different players rise to the occasion this year for the Canucks. Burrows, Bieksa, maaaybe Kesler (it's in there somewhere). I would wager that Booth's days in Vancouver are numbered...his parents should have named him Toby...or Cody.

We're all very curious about the Canucks and Rangers with their drastic coaching philosophy changes. Personally, I'd rather have Torts as my coach than AV.

Torts said after the game they didn't want frankie as the 6th D. They want him logging 25-30 mins a night in Utica not 8-9 here.

Watching Lundqvist last night I couldn't help but wonder if maybe Luongo's bad games were not his fault. Maybe it was AV.

Wasn't everyone screaming to fill the line up with rookies? Wasn't that AV's huge failing, not letting the kids play? They aren't going to look amazing right away. Give them a chance and all that.

I don't think Bo & Hunter should be wasting away on limited 4th line minutes. would love to see a mix of savvy vet with up & coming young grinder. We'll see.

Yep. Even a guy like Santorelli should be given benefit of the doubt. I also think we see a healthy Booth, and a healthy Kes this year. Slight improvements from just those two players will translate into wins for the Canucks.

I still think the Canucks have one more SCF in them. Hopefully this is the year.
