I don't think Bo & Hunter should be wasting away on limited 4th line minutes. would love to see a mix of savvy vet with up & coming young grinder. We'll see.

I think Horvat will be sent down before the start of the year. Wiese will be back for game 1 of the regular season. With Torts talking about not wanting Corrado sitting in the press box when he could be getting big minutes in Utica, I could see Horvat given the same treatment. Shinkurak will get at least 5 games until Kassian comes back, then I would love to see Hunter stay and have Sestito/Weise in the press box but I think that is a long shot as well.

There is still some time to finalize the roster. Especially with the waiver wire and a possible trade.

Horvart and Shinkaruk are both not ready for the NHL, great young players yes, but not ready.

Higgins should not be playing on the second line, both him and Hansen are third line players. That leaves Kassian, who's unproven at the NHL level, Booth, who hasn't played a meaningful game in two years as the other two options for the top six.

Please rectify this problem Mike! The bottom six should look like this;

Higgins Santorelli Hansen
Sestito Richardson (not Dale Weise)

I bet Gillis will get his #'s in order and Corrado will be up before we know it. Once Horvat and Shinkaruk get sent back to junior there will be space on the roster.

Not sure if Sestito should be penciled in there either. Richardson and/or Santorelli need more support than last years waiver wire pickings.

Who would be the most surprising player to be moved that could actually benefit the team now and in the long run?

Wasn't everyone screaming to fill the line up with rookies? Wasn't that AV's huge failing, not letting the kids play? They aren't going to look amazing right away. Give them a chance and all that.
- micah555

No. I was screaming for a 2nd line playmaker and an impact bottom 6. Niether have materialized. 18 year olds will not solve our scoring woes, and if we don't solve our scoring woes we won't win.

I'd wager no. He's like that story of the gentle bull in grazing in the meadow that suddenly springs to life when he gets stung by a bee. On the evidence of that one performance they send him to the bull fighting arena and he goes back to sniffing daisies.

Schroeder - Booth - Jensen - Gaunce - Andersson - Hansen - Cannata - KASSIAN???

I don't know - package a first round pick and a few of these guys to get a scorer in here.

Jets are an emerging team, can't see that working. Vanek is a UFA at season's end and Buffalo sucks terribly. I could see a deal something like that working, a bottom end team with a sniper looking for a prospect and a first round pick.

Juice rarely disappoints when he chooses to throw down and he usually beats the opponents ass. He's not a big guy but pound for pound he's one tough SOB and really throws quick, effective punches.
