C'mon... he can't even coax them out of the locker room. - mayorofangrytown
They're winless and Homer hasn't made any moves to try to strengthen their lineup. Bring on Hexy! |

I think Philly is the only place that would have people lined up around the arena to fight Tie Domi if possible. - PhillySportsGuy
when my son was 5, my wife bought used hockey equipment for him. When she brought it home, I see that it was Tie Domi branded set. I wanted to burn them. I tried to explain who he was to my son, but he was too young to really understand. |

I'm pretty sure Samuelsson stepped into the head coaching vacancy short term with the Phantoms not Berube. You could be right though but I just don't remember it. - mayorofangrytown
If they were grooming Berube, he'd probably be the head coach in ADK...if they fire Laviolette, I'd bet dollars to doughnuts it'll be Murray or Paddock |

That's what I think. Paddock.
I doubt they'd get permission to talk to some of the coaches I'd like because they are in the employ of Eastern Conference teams. Desjardins might be an option in Texas. |

Well, we have been asking for defensive responsibility. A 1-4 system with the centre not going past his own blue line sounds fun to watch. |

This team needs Terry Murray. He has to teach this team how to play team defense again.
If this team played a system like they employed in LA, they could go a long way.

Jonathan Quick, Drew Doughty, Rob Scuderi, and Slava Voynov would also help. |

Murray seems unlikely... maybe he gets bumped up to asst. or assoc., but I don't see Hexy advocating for the hiring of a guy he helped to fire just a scant 2-years ago, nor do I see Homer/Snider willing to revisit the ghosts of 1997.
Paddock's never been much of a coach... plus, he seems to have settled on a front-office track since he hasn't really had much success behind the bench.
My gut tells me it's Berube as interim if they decide move on from Lavi. |

Hextall is well aware of what Murray did for that LA team, and he knows what the players, and the Hockey execs that are still there know. And that is that Murray built the foundation for that team, and taught them how to play the right way.
I don't know who it would be, but if Laviolette gets fired, and they're going to bring in an interim Coach. My vote is for Murray. |

Sure, they were defensively responsible, but Murray had a veritable bevy of All-Stars and he managed to put them all into a team-wide scoring funk that lasted for years. Kings fans practically threw a parade when he was fired.
Why trade one 'extreme' for another? |

Knowing the Flyers, practically any former player could get offered the job, lol. Except for Eric Lindros, of course. |

Murray hasn't won a playoff series in nearly two decades! Bring him on! |
