Unfortunately this isn't much of a "team" which is what I think Bill was alluding to in his blog although I don't want to speak for him. I see a fairly disjointed team that has talent and very little cohesion (probably from the turnover). There's every chance they blow chunks and draft in the top ten this coming draft and that's disconcerting to almost everyone who posts on this thread.

I have a feeling the Flyers always have an eye on the red big trade button.. They know they have assets and will not accept two losing seasons. When things start to get bad, they will probably push that red button.

I have a feeling they would make a big trade before fire the coach.

Sadly that "big trade" button takes two to tango. The "Fire the Coach" button only takes 1.
And some people on here would love to hit it repeatedly.

I still haven't wiped away the anger filled tears of the preseason. Beside the fact that we're so loaded up front we have at least one player on the opening night roster who only has an NHL job because the other players were worse than him.

Meh, that doesn't bug me.
1) Holmgren really thoguht he had Cleary lined up. Wasn't his fault that he was being used and Cleary backed out for less money.
2) Let's see what we've got. If they are poop let's figure that out sooner versus later. Laughton and Raffl (?) are still pretty young they have some time to become more. Vandevelde at 26 (?) is an old maid if he isn't playing in the big leagues yet.
