I still stand by what I said last season Plind.
They are 2-3 years away, and will need a re-birth of elite talent on that back end to do so.
Would not suprise me in the least if they miss the playoffs this season. Comparing them to a lot of teams in the Eastern Conference, they will be flirting with 8-10 imo. Right where they should be based on the crew put together.
Or they go on some wild run to the cup. If that happen I'll pull out my pubes, and put peanut butter on my head. - flyer_nutter

I hope you aren't seriously planning on this guy to play Paul Revere.

There were rumors last season about Nashville starting to possibly sour on Trotz. I cant really see that, its not his fault that they cant put together a good offense.
He would be a decent candidate, even if I personally hate that D first approach, but the choices to be available come mid-season will probably be somewhere along the lines of Paddock, Murray, Noel and maybe a slim chance in Bylsma.
Not really all that exciting. |

He just smells like John Stevens. I can smell him all the way from the frozen north plains of Winnipeg.

BTW to all those government employees feeling the strain from the USA Lockout, I would like to say I feel for you. Rest asured that this is in the nation's best interest. The government still collects 50 million per day in tax money. They still print 70 million per day of money. Our congress is shutting down the government because on top of this they are asking for an additional 80 million per day. Its not sustainable.
When you can't pay your bills at home what do you do? Sure you go borrow money from the banks, from parents and friends. But at some point they are going to ask why you keep borrowing money when your buying the new iPhone, watching high def DVR, and eating out every day. Then they are going to cut you off, at least until you can show that you are trying to live within your means.... even if it means that your going to have to be a little less happy without your new iPhone, and watching the Flyers in standard def. |

Sheep. Blind sheep. Government that is supposed to work for the people, and elected by the people is leaving them without a paycheque.
Not as extreme, but maybe those French Revolutionists were on to something. When the greedy get too powerful, sometimes you have to take a stand. Or continue to take it up the ass. |

I like how everyone said they wouldn't mind Shelley if he wasn't getting paid so much. So we get a better, faster, younger, cheaper version of Shelley, and now people are even MORe upset. |

The only real way that is the case with Rosehill is if he has a running IV of Viagra every time he is on the bench. |

Well, the important thing is that at least Congress gets paid. Sure, our military personnel risking their lives overseas aren't getting paid a dime, but the people who tell them whether they live or die are still getting paid rather handsomely as they go home to their cozy beds every night with zero to no personal incentive to get anything worked out. |
