Tonight was on him - robin_steele264
Of course it was... He had a sh1tty game. That doesn't take away his overall stats for these past 3 seasons though. Every goalie/player has sh1tty games... Cory Schneider even has sh1tty games |

Hey if the team plays like they did tonight we'll be fine. - Salvo
No it won't if Dubnyk keeps giving gifts to other teams |

And I hate people who overreact to a single game. Go become a Canucks fan if you're gonna keep it up. - MaximumBone
Ya, you are correct. We should give Dubnyk another year or two to show us how good he is. I hate to over react. Though I have been subjected to him for a lot of time. The sample size of his work is in IMHO: weak goal, or BIG rebound followed by HUGE SAVE. The guy sucks ass. But see it as you will. I hate #40. He is the weakest link, GOODBYE! Ps: no horrible rebound=no huge save. EITHER WAY DUBNYK IS NOT THE ANSWER!!!!! |

I can use caps, too.
NO, HE SHOULDN'T BE GIVEN ANOTHER TWO YEARS, BUT THAT'S NOT WHAT WE'RE SAYING. THIS IS HIS YEAR TO PROVE HIMSELF AS A #1 GOALIE. HE CERTAINLY HASN'T STARTED IT OFF WELL, BUT LIKE I'VE SAID A NUMBER OF TIMES, IT'S ONE (frank)ING GAME!
PS: A .920 save % behind a weak defense = solid goalie |

He/she does make a lot of sense... We should forget how player x has played during the last few seasons, and get rid of them the moment they have an off game. Like for instance, after tonight's game I think we should try to get rid of Hall. |

With the entire f'n country pumped up for game one, I simply do not understand how Devan Dubnyk can be so sleepy...so uninspired...so...horrible. I don't care...he has to be replaced. The team wasnt all that bad tonight, but or goalie let in not one...not two..but three softies. A close second on the suck meter was Arcophobia...he is not an NHL player. He simply had to bear down on a wide open net...THREE times!
Yakupov is way too scary good to hide on the third line. |

And the Oil Coach just said it with out the Gifts the Oil win the Game 4-1. |

Boom, genius! I nominate you as the next GM of the Oilers, if that was possible. |

I understand the feeling, but not how you're approaching it. Hall ALSO had a bad game and has a history of turning over pucks, but I haven't seen you goofs condemning him. |

Hall is being forced to play out of position while the to two pivots are injured. He had a week game but I admitted his effort and willingness to compete. Dubnyk is the goalie and he gets paid to be the goalie!!! this loss lies squarly on dubnyk's skinny shoulders. |

Con-(frank)ing-gratulations. No one is arguing that he didn't have a bad game; we're arguing the significance of a single game in the long term future. I'm not saying you should unconditionally support Dubnyk; I'm saying stop condemning him as "not a starter" after a single bad game when you know that everyone has off nights. |

But that's why you have a NUMBER ONE GOALIE for,to make those BIG TIME STOPS and help your team when a turn over happens. |

It's not a single game. Everyone was on eggshells, wondering how Dubnyk would play. If you say that you were not praying to you're television that "please don't let dubnyk let in another bad goal" then youre not being honest. He had a reputation for a reason and this so called "one bad game" argument is bogus...we all anticipated it, and then it happened |
