This years defense is the best we have had in years.... not that it says much but in years... and dont blame the (frank)ing team... Khabby carried this team to consecutive wins and in playoff contention in the early goings what last season or year prior...

A save is a save, and stats prove that he makes (on average) more saves than most goalies. Playing behind the D that he has played behind over the last 3 seasons hasn't helped his cause either... Translation, he faces harder shots. How many times over the last 3-4 seasons have Dubnyk been left out to dry?

I have no love for Dubnyk, I simply am able to evaluate the situation from a statistical and common sense perspective. I know you're upset with our lack of success over the last x number of years, but if you really look at it, that is not Dubnyk's fault...

Was last night's game Dubnyk's fault? Yes... It wasn't 100% his fault, but he was the main reason we lost... Do I think it sucks that we lost that game? Yes... However, I realize that all goalies have games like that -- Say otherwise, and you're wrong.

So while you may call it "man love with Dubnyk" I call it common sense.

No one has called him a game changing goalie. There is maybe 3 or 4 game changers in the NHL in the first place. People need to get over the fact that every goalie lets bad goals in and we aren't getting Quick or Lunqvist anytime soon.

He is not a winner... plain and simple... we lost to a lesser team yesterday... we fixed alot of poop on this team namely secondary scoring and grit- but we did not touch goaltending and if you ask me we regressed... labackup is poop and so Dubey is not a starter in the NHL... at best he is a 40 game goalie
