I like McWilliam as well, but give the poor guy (Ranger) some time. He'll make you a believer...or not. I thought he made quite a few good defensive plays around the net. Does he need to get better - absolutely. His speed needs to increase both physically and mentally, which is getting him into trouble (position and penalties) but I'm not writing him off just yet. Look at Franson - he sucked a$$ when he first came here.

Wow lot of Ranger hate only 2 games into the season with a 2-0 record. Give the guy a break Kadri had a crappy game last night to! After a decent sample size i think he'll look like an ideal bottom pair guy.


On another note Franson may be our best D man before the end of the year, again small sample, but his skating looked smother than ever.
Ottawa is a fast team, time to give Rielly a game no need to call up JML till we see what the kid can do

Right because having the puck on your stick with time and doing nothing with it but turn it over in your own end on the PK isn't concerning.

Things have a way of balancing out over the course of 82 games....

Man, I totally agree. What the hell is wrong with our fans and constantly jumping to conclusions. The guy just played two home openers on the road in two nights in his first two NHL games in 3 years! What do you expect, for him to come out and run the show?

How nervous would you be in his situation? I thought he came out and gave us solid minutes despite some lapses. He'll be the most improved Leaf by the end of the season

when starts to put the puck in the net the hate will disappear.
