H. H. Holmes blows me away... They're making a movie, and Leonardo DiCaprio will be playing him. Also interesting that they're pretty sure he was Jack The Ripper.

Mattio, nice blog! It is very refreshing to read something like that...a micro-dissection of a goal. It's the first time I have read something like that on this site and I rather enjoyed it. thanks!

First of all I'm not just hating.

The first man (I think it's Wheeler) falls due to HORRID footwork and then weakly swings his stick in Hemsky's general direction.

Then the second guy (Little) starts going out to the LEFT point???? WTF was he doing??? Look at the lane Hemsky now has. Seriously boggles my mind what Little was doing and where he thought he was going.

Complete defensive zone break down.

Then he shoots it passed a completely screened Pavelec.

It was decent but there's a reason it's not getting much attention.

That Colorado team is damn good- they were kind of rebuilding and kind of not over the same span as us (finhsed in and out of lottos) yet I see them far superior to us... thoughts???

The first time I read something like this it struck me as being a really fun exercise. When I watched the goal play out the first time I missed so much stuff. After watching it again and again you can really see so many different aspects of the play as it developed.
