Looks like someone has sand in their vagina. Lets not turn on each other already. It is only game 2.
How was that? - faustus1500
Well done. Sand, nice use of sand. |

A goalie win for Tampa Bay.
They were terrible for 50 minutes - Bishop kept them in it, won the game. - StLBravesFan
Sure the Hawks were credited with 39 shots, but I don't think Bishop was challenged that much...nice win indeed...but the Hawks didn't put ridiculous pressure on Bishop.
2 goal lead is slim with the offensive talent on the Lightning...poof, it's gone like a fart in the wind.
It was a bad lose. Hawks seem to be in offseason mode...still feeling awfully good about themselves.
This coming Blues game will be a test of their focus...and interest.
If I were a betting man, I put cash on the Blues. |

Is it the smaller pads for Crawford? This loss is inexcusable! - faustus1500
The lose has little to do with CC...score more when you dominate possession...at home. |

I wouldnt be shocked if we get blasted by the Blues. They are gonna be wound up for us. Like I said before. We are the BIG GAME to hunt this year. PK will take some time to work out the kinks. Didnt see the game, did Nordstrom play the PK again? Maybe hes not ready for that yet job yet. Gonna pass out fruit to everyone to relax and calm down.... |

It would be nice to think that you can get a two goal lead and then just lock it down. Just not how it is in hockey these days.
1 goofy goal, then another goofy bounce on the PP...and there is a tie.
Flip side, Hawks have to find a way to score 3 or more goals. I am not one for the habitual opposition goalie worship....your best players have to find a way to score. It is that simple.
In fairness, PP was not horrible. They did have zone time, just could not score.
So far 3 out of 4 points....75% X 164 = 123 point pace. Keep it up boys. - TrueGrit
Much to my surprise, I agree with all of this.
Didn't see the number of "chances" for the Hawks - just couldn't bury an extra one.
PP has looked much better - actually doing a good job of setting up and controlling the play.
Toews with his usual slow start - he seems to be fighting the puck a bit. Second line has only two points, I think - Handzus to Shaw on the PP, Hossa with that empty net "penalty goal" - so they should get going.
Excellent defense protection - 6 SOG in 40 minutes, 16 in 65 - can't do much better than that. Good quick passes to get the puck away from the net.
80 games left - twith his kind of effort they'll be fine. |

Anybody know what Kruger's stats were on the face off? He got okey-doked by St. Louis in the second period when he put it right through his legs which led to a good scoring chance and then he got beat clean on the first goal for the Lightening. He also lost another draw clean on the Lightening PP. - RetiredGoalie

We could sign them all to a max-term contract.... to play for our Toledo ECHL affiliate....as their 4th line! - prd797I know I'd go out of my way to import a Mark Bell Walleye jersey!
I'm going with an Arnason jersey. That guy was awesome; a great bar fighter too.

Nic Cage at his best!
Well, I feel a little better. Giving up two goals on 16 shots gave me cause for worry. |

I'm calm...just aggravated. The Lightening are not a very good club and the Hawks should have destroyed them.
I feeling a rather sluggish start coming on. Bring on the Circus trip...maybe that'll snap 'em out of it. |

Ancient. Think he does a decent job with college football. Was really hoping NU could pull off an upset this evening. |

The 1st ten minutes on Wednesday could get ugly. Those steroid-abusers are going to be running everyone. Maybe we should call up winchester. Just don't need any injuries, especially that dirtbag Backes on Toews. |

That is the worst part: the 1st month is a Very favorable schedule. A lot of homes games and against some of the lower teams in East. Both Florida clubs, buffalo, carolina, Islanders. These are points we should be putting in the bank before the schedule gets tougher with those road trips |

What's scary is that Kruger worked with him and was singing his praises and saying he was going to listen to everything he tells him. I doubt he told him to go 3 for 11. |
