I said it after the first period about Ray and he's kept it up. He and Mason both have had themselves great debuts.

I'd consider tossing Matt Read on that 1st unit with Voracek/Giroux. Put Hartnell on the 2nd unit.

They are playing a responsible brand of hockey. The big problem is they suck at it

Looks like the positives from the first two periods against Toronto were mainly the result of playing a tired team.

This Flyers team full of skilled players is generating no sustained offense against a mediocre defensive club.

What are we going to be 1-9 on the season now?

Something needs to be shuffled. Just start rotating the top 9 forwards. Maybe something will stick.

Is it too much to ask for the basics of (frank)ing hockey? For the last two seasons this team can't even string passes together. Either it's off line or the receiver can't accept the pass with any sort of skill. The attack is one and done. They have no flow. They run around like chickens with their heads cut off. They're just putrid. This is not a playoff team. I'd be surprised if they finish higher then 5th to worst in the league. I'm freaking falling asleep and I'm pissed I'm wasting my last few hours before work watching a team that hasn't bothered to show up since game one of the preseason.

well I'm happy with Emory and the PK and Lacavalier and especially Read have some jump in their skates, Still overall no one other than Vinnie is driving the net.

They are down 1 goal, but it literally feels like 100.
