anyone blaming goal tending needs there eyes checked both mason and emery are not the reason we have lost 2 games they have been the one bright spot in this sad dark team so far

He simplified his system last year when he had Huskins, Lauridsen, Manning and Gervais. Are they better than the current group?

I think he's fine when he's the defensive guy on a pair and not asked to do much offensively. That's why I like him with Streit. Let him stay home and not worry about having to carry the puck or make every outlet pass. Stop making him be the alpha dog on the pair.

Mez/Grossman

Emery gets the loss tonight but did well enough to deserve a closer game. Philly's team D was at fault, missed assignments, often on the outside instead of between the puck and the net. Blame the goalie but to me the team in front got caught up watching as much as not.

have to agree w/ wanting couts to have at least 1 skilled winger to pair w/. i thought vinny/simmer could use some more speed & d responsibility on that line, but couts is getting shafted w/o read...then again, i also like schenn at C. i dunno, if they don't shape up before that brief hiatus, lavi's prob outta here.

No way they play 10+ more games like this one before some sort of trigger is pulled, almost certainly in the coaching department.

If they lose tomorrow night, they are going to need to go on a nice little winning streak to help secure Lavi's job. No more win 1, lose 3...
