If you watched his Phantoms games last season, he looked incredibly bored. Several people within the organization believed he developed bad habits because the game came a lot easier to him in the minors.

I have visions of Carter vs. Richards when it comes to Schenn vs. Couturier. IOt shouldn't be like that but that's the way it's looking like it's headed. Coots being the beloved one (like richards) by the majority of fans and getting a pass, while schenn get's the majority of the critique simply because he doesn't play to the desired style of fans. Except a lot of the up in arms BS, is becuz people have a problem with Lavy and any move he makes is clearly wrong.


People are all up in arms becuz he's getting a shot at the first line? Really? It's lavy, relax, im sure at some point Jake will get his shot at playing with Giroux probably in this game.

All you ask of a young player is improvement.

I think a player likes to be challenged. And playing in a League where your talent level and ability far outweighs the majority of the League, can make it hard to get motivated.

If you prorate Schenn's number last Season to an 82 game Season. He would have scored 14 goals and 30 assists, for 44 points. Compare that to Mike Richards 2nd NHL Season. Pretty much on par with that, just as a comparison.

i'm uncertain. i think (been a while since i watched it, though) that lewis was starting to get going. i just think that it's incredibly unfortunate that we never got to see that play out. looked like it would've been great. and klitschko sure as hell didn't look overmatched. like you said, he was definitely (at least) winning early
