One of Hartnell/Simmonds really needs to go to open up a spot for a skill forward.

Most frustrating part to me is they just aren't fun to watch. Constantly chasing the puck, terrible passes and guys sprawling out trying to accept passes.

Maybe years of not being able to develop your own defense has caught up to the crew?

I honestly like them individually, aside from Coburn.

Yet as a collective group its frightening.

I wonder if Staal can play safety?

On the power play there is nowhere Simmonds should be except in front of the net. He should not be stick handling on carrying the puck in any way. He makes Rod Brind'Amour's hands look like Pavel Datsyuk.

I am hoping that by the 10 game mark he returns because we need him to lead ethe offense here..
