good point. I think we were told that it was a good thing that we won those games and would help the players development heading into this year. The Flyers would've had a chance at Seth Jones if they hadn't won those meaningless games at the end of the season.

EDIT : Also, that winning streak most likely saved Laviolette's job.

Hate to say it, but I think Lava has to go. After watching yet another game where the gap between the d-men and the forwards looked like the grand canyon, I've lost my patience. If it was up to me I'd fire him now. At a minimum, I'd tell him that the next time I see our d-man still in our zone with the puck, and every forward already out of the zone, that he's fired on the spot and Berube will finish the game. The only possible explanations for this contining issue are a) Laviolette is telling them to do it, or b) he is woefully inadequate at getting them to stop doing it. At this point, either one is grounds for termination. I've (frank)ing had it. Time for a change, even if that change is just Murray or Paddock for the rest of the season.

He also had 18 playoff points, one of the highest in a year he only played 11 games. He's the best player on both the Flyers and the Leafs. What about Phaneuf??
