BOston was fine for leafs , they hate the habs, you guys and sabres. Even though the leafs and bruins have a rivalry, I respect the way they play. It was a leafs bruins game in boston and I must have seen 4 habs jerseys with big X's over the logo. Awesome

it is still early though. a lot can change. although there are some points to be worried about, i wouldve never thought it would be the offense for you guys. i totally disagree when people say the forward talent is not there on this team.

AS " hard" as the players are skating, they knew coming into the season Lavvy had a foot out the door or one foot in the grave depending how you want to phrase it. I think they know he cant coach them past teams with good D systems now. I think the players also have a sense the GM is on the short leash too

With this much talent something else is wrong.

I also think that Giroux is nowhere near healed in his hands and Jake V is nowhere near 100% as well and thats having an affect. Vinny should be playing first line mins till G heals up. Still when all is said and done even other teams you mght think suck are scoring more than 1 fracking goal a game.

Why wait 10 games, are they going to mysteriously get better and find the open portion of the other teams nets ?

No I think that's part of the appeal. Everyone I know wants to go to philly. And not really get beat up or anything but definitely given a rough ride, and get heckled. That's the appeal of philly. Im not obnoxious at all when I go (I guess it's because I can't really talk sh*t, im a leafs fan lol) and I think that's a big part of it (how the home fans will treat you). I just like to talk hockey with them. You are definitely right with the 'requested' part. NOthing worse than obnoxious out of town dbags

Its definitely odd, but both guys have to much talent to not turn it around. I honestly haven't watched the pens play to comment on why Malkin hasn't recorded a point, bit I think g might still he recovering from his injuries.

Regardless, I still think they'll both be ppg players by the end of the year.

Forwards - C- , being generous probably, but some are working hard, most are not.
Coaching - D , seems were outcoached consistently , and we seem to have no in game adjustments.
Special Teams - D , way to many penalties and our PP seems to lack that creativity.

Which is why some fans are freaking out a little bit. I still think the flyers could use another binaries sniper, but right now it is what it is and they all need to work a little harder. Make your own luck.

Goalies- agreed B+
Defense- C. I don't think the defense has been that bad, breakdowns are bound to happen. But ibthink the forwards still need to be more responsible.
Forwards- D. Lack of effort. Too many instances of someone taking a weak shot on net, and there's o secondary support for rebounds. Plus, they've missed the net a poop ton of times.
Coaching- F. Lack of inspiration, lack of adjustments. Piss poor in every area.
Special teams- B- I suppose. Since well, 2/3rds of our goals have come on the pp, something's working. I think the pp is more creative than last year, where all we did was try to get it to g on the half boards so he could shoot. The entry could definitely use some work, as I'm tired of watching one guy try to move the puck in as 4 others stand waiting on the blueline. And pk has been decent so far.

I am in the same group. I just dont think his message is getting through anymore and he is lacking innovation. I think there just needs to be a change with coaching and the front office.
