I'm sorry I just saw the buffalo comment and actually bursted out laughing.
But anyway, the reason I'm over here is to ask a question ( not trying to troll or argue).. From what I'm seeing/ reading the flyers are hurting pretty badly so far.... I'm just curious if any of this has to do with streit?? Coming from an islanders fan... the defensive lapses were enough to make you cringe... I was never upset about him leaving, especially for that kind of money... has he been okay or has nothing changed? I just remember wanting to punch babies when he was on the ice sometimes.

Streit has been OK, nothing more, nothing less. However, I have seen nothing to justify either the lengh or cash he was given. The cause of the Flyers demise can be traced back to last season, the downhill ride started long before Streit got here.

when I heard that he wanted more than 5+ mill during negotiations, I thought that was an utter joke. my jaw dropped when I heard that. I never thought anyone would pay him that. He's practically making what JT makes. Although I don't pay much attention to +/-, with streit I will this year.

I can see Tim Thomas turning back the clock 2 years on Tuesday, just for the Flyers. 15 SOG, all aimed at the panthers logo on Thomas's chest.

After sleeping on it, my mind is made up. I feel the same way I did at the end of last season, it's time for a coaching change. I'm not ready to blow up the lineup until I can see how they perform under a new coach.

Now, if they continue to play lousy under a new coach, then it's time for Holmgren to go and the house cleaning to begin.
