Carter and Richards? No. Bob? yes. though i would say that's more on the goaltending coach. dont think the head coach has too much to do with the goalies... except for a guy like Roy.

i don't think the Carter/Richards trades were bad. evaluating them is like evaluating the Kessel trade. the younger pieces of that trade are still developing players. the JVR trade wasn't his finest moment, and neither was the Bob trade or the Bryz signing. you can say it's hindsight but those backfiring moves are starting to pile up.
