it's ridiculous in a game where Calgary was really throwing their weight around. |

It was considered the team's strength prior to the season.
Why not just switch Plek and DD? We know Plek does well with better players, let 3 3rd liners be our 3rd line. Gionta and Briere can have veteran "neither-of-us-should-be-here" competition for the winger with Plek and Pacioretty. - muffin_man
yeah at this point any change for those guys would be welcome. |

watched 24CH last night, let's say that the conversation Bergevin had with Leblanc when he told him he was sent down, was...interesting - stinger67

What'd he say? I'm surprised they let them film that type of thing.

Briere with Prust and Pacioretty
Bournival with Moen/White
other lines stay the same
would like to see that just for one game. we rip on Briere but i'd like to see him play at his natural position on a line where he isn't the second biggest guy. |

He's been a winger for the past few years no?
and at what point do we give Plekanec a chance to be an offensive weapon? |

...and he sucked at it
Hence why he maybe, should be moved at center? |

fair enough but I'd imagine there's also a reason he was playing wing. If a guy is amazing at his position, you don't typically move him out of it. |

That's why DD hasn't been moved to the wing. |

In fact, I don't think it can be qualified as a conversation, it was more of Bergevin doing the talking and Leblanc saying "hmm, hmm"
Basically telling him that his strenght and compete level were ten time better than at camp last year, but that he needed to show consistency, that he can't go in 10, 15 games where he's unnoticable and that when he called "Sly" (Sylvain Lefebvre), he needed to hear that he was the best player on the ice. |
