Maybe they'll give us a break after the JVR trade. There's got to be a little guilt there don't ya think? - mayorofangrytown
It hasn't been lopsided. Can you imagine this defense without Luke Schenn? |

We would not have gotten Seth Jones. We would have gotten Darnell Nurse and I would have been even more upset with the pick. - jmatchett383

I think they had Risto and Morin ahead of Nurse - PhillySportsGuy
Well at least that makes me feel better. Risto would have been good. I still say Pulock would have been better, but I'm willing to be patient and optimistic with Morin. |

Or 3-4 more likely. Give him another year in juniors after this, a season in the AHL (spot duty call-up maybe), then we'll see what he looks like. |

I probably would. Granted, he'd go on to pot 30/45/75 in his first full year there and all, but it's a pretty even trade at present. - jmatchett383
I think Gardiner has more upside. He's a potential all star defenseman. Schenn looks like a future solid top 6 guy. |

I can imagine a shoot out loss in Carolina and 1 pt in the standings.
Seriously, We sold low. It will look worse in a couple years I believe. |

I liked Pulock too, but I'm willing to trust the Flyer scouts on this one. They usually are pretty good in the first. Especially, when they take a guy in Canada. |

Gardiner's either going to be great or strike out, I don't see much middle ground for him. But I'm a sucker for those USA WJC guys. When are we getting Josh Gibson? |

Remind Adam that during that time, he was in the net for some other team which might have had a little something to do with those numbers. |

I know. I'm just infatuated with a guy who's 6'1 211 lb and has a 100 mph slapshot at 19 years old. I really think he'll be the steal of the draft. |

Slapshot speed is overrated. It's more important just to get the shot through. Why do you think Timonen has been the QB of some very good Flyers PPs |

Well, so far, he does have 2G/4A in 2 games in the toughest junior league in the world. I'm not gonna dwell on it, I'm just a big fan. |
