I'm with you Hammar. Last month I tried to bring some levity to a thread by stating at least no Flyers had been hit by a train. Unfortunately, Bill proved my statement to be false. - PLindbergh31
i remember that post. wasn't surprised with the outcome. |

The forecheck scheme was changed. Zone entries were changed. Neutral zone checking was changed. And the breakout scheme was changed. He made significant changes. Maybe you just didn't recogniz it, but they were made.
I talk a lot about them because I did recognize them. It's not hard to notice a change from a predominantly side breakout, to a center breakout. - MJL

Honestly, if there's an issue with Simmonds and Hartnell with Giroux, they are a highly effective trio on the PP. Perhaps they can use that to get going at 5 on 5.
It's a departure and a logical one. I'm cool with what Berube seems to be doing for his debut. - Jsaquella
If Giroux and Vorachek were already paired this year (I don't mean for a period) and it wasn't working, then yeah, try Simmonds and Hartnell.. but its hasn't yet been tried. Lets get some points on the board with a combo that has had success... |

That's the second worst goal I've ever seen anybody give up.... #1 goes to our dear friend Niittymaki getting scored on while leaning back on the net watching the jumbotron. - Tomahawk
Bernie Parent once gave up a really long one while he was clearing the shavings from his crease.

I like this new coaching style, only dressing 3 lines. It's revolutionary if nothing else. - jmatchett383
We should do 9 forwards and 9 dmen. That would keep our d well rested. On the pk we can just put out 4 dmen and have them lay ontop of each other to block shots.
Wish nhl14 would let me do this!

Panthers as in players on the Florida professional ice hockey team or the actual large cat? If it's the large cat, I'm setting it at 3. |

Coburn with Grosmann in the 3rd pair, well.... ehm.. can we call it Des-pair? - Ondrej F
What make you think they're the third pari? I'd imagine the Mez/Streit pair would be the one to be shielded which I like a lot. |

glad to see schenn back with timonen... not glad to see mesz and streit together... yikes. - -davies-

I'm thinking that, too.
Get Mez-Streit on the ice in offensive situations, Grossmann-Coburn for defensive ones.
Should work well w/ last change... on the road, that's a different story. |
