i think i've only had taco bell once since the 90s even though i've liked it every time i've had their food.
there aren't really enough of them here to really hit ya with the impulse eat and if you're going out of your way for mexican food you're gonna go to an authentic place instead since there are a fair amount of them in toronto |

it was yuge in the 90's. everyone was serving their soups and chili is bread bowls. pretty sure the fad has passed. - Gramps28
That shouldn't be a fad, chili in a bread bowl is an institution. Soups on the other hand can be quite runny. |

like for (frank)s sake soup only exists in the first place because poor ass peasants didn't have enough solid worthwhile food to go around so they watered it down and invented soup.

seriously though, my father used to make a MEAN pasta fagioli and my mother made the best seafood bisque i've ever had. both probs woulda gone great in a bread bowl. |
