so today i had the breaded chicken hoagie and i got the new spicy pepper relish and it wasn't bad. i also added sweet peppers, black pepper, and lettuce.

picked up an eyetalian classic on my way back from the dentist.

anyway, i hit the button for the new spicy pepper relish and it's pretty damn good on the hoagie.

it's basically that pepper hoagie spread you always see anyway. red peppers and vinegar.

so i've been covertly doing some advanced studies on wawa while i still can so i could get you guys some answers because i think you deserve answers.

first things first, after discovering royal farms' breakfast-sandwich-blasphemy™ i decided to take a closer look at something i thought i already appreciated, the wawa breakfast sandwich.

the thing i guess i have to keep in mind when i'm expertly user reviewing these babies is that the "worst" sizzli doesn't necessarily mean it's a terrible breakfast sandwich. it just means it was my least favorite of the group.

it is with the greater appreciation that you gain from eating a hamburger-bun-breakfast-sandwich with cheez wiz in it that i have revisited some long forgotten sizzlis.

to start off, i have extremely undersold the biscuit sizzli, primarily because the biscuit falls apart as you eat it. but that's just the nature of being a biscuit. you crumble. additionally, i think i always took points off because it doesn't look as big as the other sizzlis but the biscuit is tall and biscuits are dense AF. you're gonna feel full when you're done so quityerbiitchin. to be honest, although they don't even make them that often, the biscuit sizzli is probably the best tasting sizzli. just don't eat it in your KIA.

now onto the croissant sizzli. look, it's still kind of mushy. but maybe little miss primadonna856 needs to remember sometimes that this ain't some fancy shmancy bakery, it's a (frank)ing convenience store. and these croissant sizzlis are perfectly fine. they add a butteryness that the others don't have and i henjoyed a nice bacon egg and cheese croissant just last weekend and really reevaluated my life entirely.

let's also talk for a minute about the three cheese bagel melt. i probably haven't even ever mentioned it before since that sounds really really boring compared to the ham & cheese with spicy mustard or the pepperoni and cheese, etc. but i just finished one. it's a pretzel bagel, which makes a difference. it was an enjoyable bagel sizzli. i would like it even more if they went the spicy mustard route with this as well to, you know, spice it up. but it is perfectly fine if for some (frank)ed up reason you're anti-meat.

so there you have it. sometimes it takes a competitor stepping in with some 8th rate versions of these fattening favorites for you to really appreciate what you already have.

pffft. (frank)ing cheez wiz.

wawas are on every other corner throughout south jersey.

i think they may have been built before the houses and streets were put down.

if you live here you're never more than a few minutes from a wawa.

cheeze whiz? why? cause putting a piece of processed cheese on a breakfast sandwich is difficult or something?

i think there might be a series of weird things that go on in baltimore that the world wasn't privy to until the spread of their strange royal farms convenience stores. even the chicken breakfast sandwich has cheez whiz.

today i had the turkey, bacon & ranch pretzel bagel melt.

pretty damn good. too much ranch to eat it all the time but they really piled the bacon on this one.

i highly recommend giving it a try.
