pffft cheez whiz.

it's unreal.

just had the new and improved chicken salad shorty, which completes my tour of the "new and improved" sandwiches.

maybe i just didn't order tuna, egg salad, and chicken salad sandwiches enough in the past but i never really found myself saying "wow, this is new!" or "wow, this is improved!" while i was eating any of these.

i will admit this one was delicious but i'm pretty sure it's because i hit the bacon button, the pickle button, and the black pepper button (which is a little move we like to call the triple play™).

also, the kid making the sandwich may be a lurker on the website because (and s2, you'll love this) he basically gave me like 2 pickles worth of pickle slices. i watched him piling them on and all i could think was "sweet geesus, please let that be my sandwich!"

i forgot to grab a black pepper packet. my egg bowl is still delicious but i'll always have this nagging feeling that it could have been better.

i'm a big proponent that there should be a black pepper button when you order an egg bowl. i will bring it up at the next shareholders meeting.

i collect forks. i think what i'm gonna do is grab a couple black pepper packets (BPP, yeah you know me) every day and put them in a cup in my drawer with the forks.

wawa actually makes a great one. and they're big too. they don't (frank) around with tiny breakfast burritos like most places.

at the next meeting, bring up expanding to illinois. they would kill in this market. their main comp would be speedway and circle k. all they have is pre-packaged poop and mediocre coffee. circle k's coffee rises to okay in a couple of instances but neither come close to the dearly departed white hen pantry's coffee.

they took over all the Hess gas stations that were around here, which wasn't many of them. There's one about 2 miles from my house where I get gas from time to time. One day I decided to walk into the store and made an audible ugh and left.

we also have thornton's which is just terrible on every level. BP and circle K are the best option for coffee. i don't do breakfast and while you have your public toilet thing, i don't eat food from gas stations.

little disappointed in the lack of cheesy goodness in my egg bowl this morning.

they gave me tons of sausage crumbles though so i guess it's an even trade off.

i treated myself to a breakfast hoagie today. i went scrambled eggs and bacon. tons of black pepper. i switched out the orange cheese for some nice melty american cheese because (frank) that orange cheese.

i showed just a sliver of self control by ordering a shorty instead of a classic.

it was, of course, delicious.
