They need to move their (frank)ing feet. Watch any other team and they are always moving. - wilsonecho91

Who would you trade for Gardiner? Also what would be your pairings then? - FrmRusiaWifGlov
They want a roster player plus, don't they? Gardiner still hasn't proven much. Who knows. Trading Talbot wouldn't upset me too much. He has value but I think we would miss him all that much with some of the other guys around now. Not sure Gardiner is who I would be moving him (plus picks) for though. |

Simmonds is particularly bad in this regard. Love his energy and grit, but he still needs work...like many on the Flyers. |

Here's what I don't like about last game: Simmonds has earned nothing to deserve top line minutes. Nothing. I understand no one has earned much of anything, but this one particularly bugs me. Rewarding a guy for what ? |

Agreed. Of course the flip side is: who has earned anything by way of their play? B Schenn, Read, Lecavalier and Rinaldo have earned their minutes...anybody else?
Outside the goalies, who have both been stellar so far (what a role reversal for this team), what player - beyond those already mentioned - has looked inspired as opposed to flat and dull? |

No doubt. Talbot is the only other. But that means play 2nd and 3rd lines and piss the current 1st line off. sit em. They've done nothing. |

Yup. It will be interesting to see what Berube does with an over-paid crop of under-achieving forwards. I'd bring up Raffl and McGinn for a game or two to see what happens, and without a doubt Homer should swallow his pride and reach out to Gagne to see if he would still consider coming to Philadelphia. He's a solid 2-way forward, something severely lacking in this current lineup, and he apparently has as much offense left in the tank as anyone on this team.
PS - goodnight, man...time to crash. Catch you this weekend for the games. |

Amen. Good night. No reason Gagne isn't signed. None.
