In what way is this common knowledge. I've asked for examples and you've provided me none. You may believe it's common knowledge but it's just your conjecture and not the truth. - mayorofangrytown
Just thought it was. I will try to provide some examples for you, good sir. |

Blues/Hawks replay on NHL Network right now if anyone care to watch two organizations that have built great teams through the draft. - Just5
Watched last night. Let's just say that I was, um, er, um...somewhat concerned about my favorite team's ability to play with either of those two.

Can you ask how much he feels Jeff Reese has helped him rediscover his game?
I think Jeff Reese has, at times, been unfairly maligned. And if Mason says that Reese didn't do much, I'll believe what he says.
But I'm curious about how much he feels Reese has helped, if Mason feels that he has.

Ask him if, when he hears the word, "Gap," if he thinks first of the clothing store or the distance between his Forwards and Defensemen. |

Again, reportedly Buff has trimmed down to circa 265 lbs and has brought a new attitude and committment to the rink this season. Yes there were reports he ballooned up to 300 last season, but even if true, it's not like his game suffered that much. He's always played at a relatively heavy weight, yet still produced among the elite defensemen in the league. You don't/can't do that by being a lazy fat azz.
Let's, for the moment, suppose he has indeed addressed those fitness/committment concerns. Would there be others that would still make you still NOT WANT? What are they? Personally, I feel that Big Buff is probably the closest any single (active) player can come to matching what Pronger brought to the ice...maybe Weber is in that category too, but that ship has sailed. |

I think this franchise should stop chasing what it was that Pronger brought as that shipped has sailed also.
Many franchises across sports have been undone by trying to find the next "INSERT GREAT PLAYER'S NAME HERE", and they just come up empty.
I would rather the Flyers try to take stock of what they have now, make the best of it, and move forward. |
