The biggest problem is that we won't suck enough to get McDavid in 2015. Teams are going to be purposely tanking that year, and our idiotic management is too proud to follow suit.

I'm at the game. I'm not mad. Most people aren't. But this is new. We are terrible like we never have been. We aren't even NHL level. Ironically the fans are louder now than they have been for a few years. Mostly mocking the team.

Rolston is trying to prove to him that he has to work for it or he'll sit. I wouldn't be surprised to see him in the lineup next game to see if the seat in the box made a difference in how he's going to play. Hopefully it does. Could you imagine what he may have been able to accomplish already if he played the way Girgensons does but with his talent level? It would be so fun to watch. Instead we're all just screaming at the tv and stuff when he's out there because he looks so lost most of the time.

I got yelled at last year at the Winnipeg game that led to Ruff's firing. The guy sitting in front of me got pissed because I was asking how Ruff still had a job. He asked me if I was a fan and told me to start acting like it.

Remember when everyone was saying MacKinnon was the next Crosby? He wasn't even the consensus #1 when the draft finally rolled around. Nobody really knew what way Colorado was going to go for sure. They just as easily could have gone with Jones. They certainly had more of a need for defense than they did center.

I'll wait to pass judgment on McDavid until the year he's going to be drafted. There are so many things that could change between now and then.

I found it amusing as well because he was just some random guy. The seats in front of me are seasons, but he was not one of the normals. Must have bought them off stub hub or something. It took all I had in me to not punch him in the face and tell him to STFU.
