Over, plenty of meaningless games in april for some of the contenders like Boston and Detroit. Plus in todays NHL the lowest point total you'll see is around 65-75.

He came in as a 21 year old who could hit, scrap and draw penalties and defend his teammates on a very good, very fast skill team. Now you look at it, who is he standing up for? All he can do is try and draw penalties for the worst powerplay in hockey. I don't see a future in it.

He's still a semi fan favourite so they'll keep him around until he becomes expendable in that regard. Like when Justin Bailey is called up or when we're finally a consistent playoff team.

I think Kaleta has hit his expiration date, but it's amusing how other teams' fans think coming in here and hating a player THEY'RE SUPPOSED TO HATE means jack squat.

BTW I can't believe how pathetic this organization has become since Pegula purchased them. He has got to be the softest owner in the NHL. Darcy has been robing the Sabres blind for over a decade and it doesn't look like its gonna end anytime soon.

I wont be going to another game this year until they show me they actually care about the fans. You can't put crap on the ice and expect us fans to buy it.

Pegula needs to get is priorities straight. I could give two poops about the arena upgrades and what he is building next to the arena when the team is terrible and awful to watch.

OK, so I'm done with this year already so here's a conversation starter.

2014-2015 roster assuming the following:

- We get the #1 overall pick
- Leino is bought out
- Stafford is traded for picks at the draft
- Vanek is traded for picks at the deadline
- We lose Miller for nothing (great work Darcy)
- Sign Callahan as a UFA
- Sign Thornton as a UFA
- Sign Steen as a UFA

Steen - Hodgson - Callahan
Foligno - Reinhart - Ennis
Grigorenko - Girgensons - Armia
Larsson - Kaleta - Thornton

Ehrhoff - Pysyk
Myers - Weber

I don't love Steen as 1LW but I didn't want to just throw in a superstar (Heatley etc) there because I don't think that will solve anything. We need to start putting together a true 1st line and maybe that doesn't involve Callahan either but he works there for now.

Reinhart is also probably premature at 2C but whatever.

I also doubt Thornton would ever sign in Buffalo but again, whatever.

I'd assume that a lot of people booing understand that it is the organization and not the players, although some players do deserve it (Stafford).
