You'll think I'm crazy probably, but I'd get Grigorenko with Hodgson and Vanek for a minumum of 10 games. I think he needs to be carried a bit right now, and I hope after a spell he'd pick it up with those two. I know he's supposed to be a center, but there's time for that. Get him on the wing and let him loose for a bit, put Larsson on the 3rd line pivot spot with Girgensons and Flynn or whomever.

Grigorenko can keep practicing faceoffs, but I think it's wise to give him some time with two of our more creative players.

In all seriousness tho i agree with grigo on the top line. Ott is very out of place there.

I think the kids have looked great all things considered. Girg needs to stay on his skates but he's strong on the puck and shows a ton of upside.

Assuming the losing doesnt get in their heads i think the future looks better then it has recently.

I have a strong opinion about people who Boo ....... and people who don't put their shopping carts away and leave them inteh parking lot.

Both say volumes about the type of person you are.

Staying on topic: I have seen a change in the ability of fans to heckle the other team (and fans) to just Booing teh Sabres. To me that just screams lazy and unimaginative. The Sabres 'Fans' have Jeered Miller name more than the other goalie.
Do you know why its easy to play in Buffalo, because the fans suck. They know if they score one goal, the fans will turn on their own team. Its a joke.

Don't blame the fans. Fans are very aware that the Sabres are an emotionally weak team that has absolutely no ability to overcome adversity. So yes... When the other team scores a goal and takes the lead the fans know the game is over..... Stop blaming the fans .....

I honestly think you would see a change of emotion ten fold if Darcy were fired. IMO, he is the reason fans are so impatient.

If Darcy were to be canned people would see change on the horizon and be more patient.

The anger is going to soon become misguided and turn towards Ted and Terry, when really they are trying to do what they can. The people in charge of the hockey decisions are not getting it done.

I for one feel awful for Ted Black. He has to try to sell this crap. He has done an amazing job at turning that arena into a spectacle with all the new lights and sounds.
I can only imagine what it will be like when the team is good!

To me, booing a poor effort says "I expect better, I think you are better than this". To me I always felt it was directed at the coach and management.

However in this season, they suck. They told you they would suck. If you look at this roster it wasn't built to win. It was built to rebuild. This is progress. There is no reason to boo at this point.

ONe one had Ott brings the only forecheck to the line and allows the other two to be creative offensively. Grigobusto would just put three defensively irresponsible on the ice at once.
