The team may be suffering at the moment but if its for the greater good of a top pick and actually building a championship caliber team then I'm all for it. Also the Harbor Center is a huge gift from Pegula to the city and will make Buffalo a more attractive city to come to/play for.

Yea... I don' think so. Booing is for fans who are NOT content with the crap that's being put on the ice. That's like going to your favorite restaurant and getting your favorite dinner but they screw it up and its awful and you don't complain. Will they give you a new dinner if you don't say something? Same concept can be applied to the Sabres.

Have you been to a game yet this year? The gameday presentation was great. The team sucks and I get that. At least they are in control of whats going on. I'd rather have a team tanking on purpose, getting young guys time and in control of their destiny, than a team that thinks spending to the cap just for the sake of doing it is going to work.

That is technically true, but in a few years this is all going to come together. We'll have the best of both worlds. You'll leave the arena from a playoff win and be glad the building is there.

explain how building a massive private mixed-use building is having your priorities all wrong? especially one thats going to be the future home of the griffins and practice facilities for his team. As far as im concerned Pegula is one of the best things to happen to this city in quite a long time. The team can be 30th for the next 5 years. I like seeing my city succeed first then some players on a team.

OK... Everything you say is great but.............. Where is the intensity on the ice? Where is the effort? Where is the sanity when it comes to coaching? Losing can be accepted if the team on the ice is putting forth the effort every night. That is coaching right there. They lied when they said they had the best coach for this situation and they never looked further than this emotionless statue called Rolston. And having good draft picks is great but you have a failure as a gm making those picks. This does not inspire confidence in me. I do not blame the players but I certainly do blame this organization for retaining Darcy and hiring Rolston... That is 2 very huge mistakes and is resulting in more failure...

I say again, Ted Black has the worst job in the NHL right now. He has to market this crap. He has done an amazing job at enhancing the gameday experience. The anger has been misguided at him. he has nothing to do with the hockey operations.
