i'm not surprised at all. the move/attempt wasn't bad. he just lost the handle.

and yeah. shoot the puck. even if not to score, for a rebound.

Well he messed his hand up pretty good about 5-7 weeks ago. Tore a couple ligaments, needed surgery, missed camp.

Still warmin up, hopefully. He actually looks really good tonight.

Don't know if you're watching the game, but he was just knocked down in the neutral zone and fished the puck out (while on the ice) out of 2 Yotes' skates while killing a penalty and drew a penalty in the process.

He does look good and you can't always judge a player by his stat sheet. Malone isn't always on the score sheet, but he makes an impact.

all from the outside with no traffic in front. when they get a good chance they pass it and then get no shot. frustrating to watch. you would think if you are having trouble scoring you go back to crashing the net and throwing EVERYTHING at it
