You're right, I've never seen him do that against Crosby or Mallon (who the (frank) is mallon?)
- feelingkettle

You think that's the problem, and why they aren't winning or scoring more goals? That they're short a 3rd line Winger? Maybe Gagne can come in and straighten all of this right out!

How is the accountability and discipline working out with the coaching change? That all buttoned up?

He's paid like one of those, period.
- JoeRussomanno

and if his career over the past 3 seasons tells the story he will end up close to that if not there.

I am not worried about Giroux or Voracek, they are the two most dynamic players on this team.

It's gonna take a few weeks for that tho... It took lavy a couple weeks for his mark to show on the team when he took over.

I'm off for the night Jsaq, but I think they lost because of one thing, and thats not stupidity.

They lost because of a lack of direction. This team has been a mess, with no stability from top to bottom for a long (frank)ing time. Time for change, at the top.

- flyer_nutter

They just changed coaches and revamped the system. Do you expect them to grasp it after two days of practices?

They lost because of the Rinaldo penalty, where he high sticked the guy after the whistle. They had just tied the score and he killed any momentum they had. That directly led to the game winning goal. High sticking a guy after a whistle isn't fire, it's (frank)ing stupidity.

How DARE you ask for clarification from the One. You should read what he says, bow down to his superior intellect, and be grateful he hasn't killed you with his voice.

Definitely a big factor in the game. But honestly, more then anything, they lost and are losing because they aren't getting enough out of their top players.

Know what tho... Lets look at the common denominator to the 40 years of no cups and nonsense in between ... Ed Snider... Lets face it homer's replacement is already lined up and part of the good old boy club...wash rinse repeat..
- JoeRussomanno

You said it bro. They will never win a Cup as long as steady eddy runs things.

You know guys. Jerry jones and al Davis loves/d their teams more than any other owner in their leagues. Doesn't mean they are/have hurt their franchises in their old age. Snider is in this boat

What's he really done in the last three seasons?... He's a point per game player whoop de (frank)ing doo
- JoeRussomanno

God knows I've ? G as elite player that he is portrayed as. Not sure just yet. I agree he needs to be evaluated as far as elite. I've stated before that Briere had 90 pt season in buf once and only once in career. Maybe g had his best season already. Just concerned 8 mil for non elite is much. But he could still turn it around as I truly Believe he doesn't have scoring wingers. I'd like to see him with a vanek, gsborik, semin type 1rst to fully judge. May e we never find out

Your avatar seriously needs to be the cable nihlist guy....
Anyway the anemic overpaid offense is what's killing them... Stupid penalties happen.

To be fair, they only scored a goal because of Rinaldo. So at worst he was a wash.

I can't stand Rinaldo, but the reason they lost is because the skilled players didn't show up once again.

You know what, Rinaldo had a bad game. Some bad undisciplined penalties. And a bad turnover that led to a goal. But how long has it been since it could be said that he had a bad game? I'd kind of look in another direction. How about someone like Giroux, Voracek, or Simmonds make a play and score a goal?
- MJL

I said the exact same thing about Rinaldo.

Hopefully it's not the new norm. Roll him out there tomorrow night and hopefully he wreaks havoc!

It's still way to early to give up. They will eventually get it together......i hope.
- idiotsallofu

I hope so. But we have a ppg centre that still has 0 PTs. Is say what a mess. I do believe that by mid season if we continue as a last place club. Hextall needs to take over.

Hartnell is good for 25 goals a season, voracek has grew into a poor man's jagr... Giroux has players around him, problem is the ice isn't as open when you're the number one guy and being said number one you have to dominate. Giroux has not shown to be able dominate in this situation consistently.

There's a reason 80 some year old men are typically retired, just saying.
