As a fan, I sort of want a quick fix here, but in reality I realize that quite often the elite teams of today went through very significant rough patches before rising to the top by utilizing the draft. We often ask if management can have the patience to deal with that... but I don't really think the fans do either.
I really started paying attention in about 1993, so 1995-2012 or so really spoiled me as a fan. Other than one year, there wasn't really a question of making the playoffs each year, but more about where they'd seed. Certainly a different feel these days. Strange |

Well I certainly agree that in times this Season, such as for most of the 2nd period tonight, when the Flyers were chasing the puck in their own end, for most of the period. That does limit offensive opportunities. But the Flyers have had plenty of opportunities to go to the net. I agree they aren't sharp overall with the puck. - MJL
if we are to be honest, this team has converted the arena into a morgue... |

Everybody is frustrated, that's obvious. But I'm going to remain patient. I really do think they're going to come out of this. More then anything they need someone to provide a spark, and do something to lead the way, and the rest will follow.

In my opinion, and others may disagree, it's kinda hard to spoil the fans without winning a Championship. |

It's been a frustrating Season to this point obviously. But I truly believe they will turn the corner. Hopefully when they do, it's not too late.

In between the injury updates, did the Flyers twitter feed keep tabs on how many hot dogs he ate tonight? |

Some fans are different I guess. I liked knowing every year they at least had a shot, and some of those years in there they had a really good shot. I'd love for them to win it all obviously, but for the most part, the season and playoffs have always been entertaining, even in loss. Though the last 2 playoff exits have been pretty miserable...
Edit: If winning a championship means finishing bottom 5 in the league at least 2 year in a row, are you ok with that? |

If D-man comes out of Flyers lineup to get Gustafsson in, it may be L. Schenn. Averaging 15:00 TOI thru 5.... least among all D by a lot.
Not sure I would do that..i think I would actually go Mez or Timmonen first. |

JVR keeps filling the net up, while the Flyers couldn't score in a whorehouse with a fistful of hundreds, Schenn a healthy scratch?
Place would go off the rails. |

Why? Guy has done tremendous work. We have the core of a bottom 5 team locked up for 5 more years. With ntcs! |
