Other then again taking too many penalties, I thought the Flyers played a solid period. Got in on the forecheck, broke a lot of plays up in the neutral zone for transition. Had some good scoring chances. They need to back it up in the 2nd period which has been a problem. And stay out of the dam penalty box!

Detroit announcers "these are not your father's Flyers, they dont fight or dont score and the fans booed the Flyers off the ice the other night...well they booed Santa"

I think so also. And agree about last night. And then they had a poor 2nd period. Have to guard against that.

Looks like Voracek's back has been reinjured thanks to a non-called Kronwall crosscheck.

Man..that looked like a pretty vicious crosscheck..really surprised it wasn't called.
While Emery needs to make that save he made a couple other great saves in there..
I'm surprised people are questioning Rinaldo..He had 1 bad game, I think he deserves the same padding we give everyone else.
