MgGinn also played better last night then Giroux or Jake has played all year..Lets sit them for him also.

Until McGinn proves he can produce over a full season not sure what he has earned.

Don't get me wrong, I hope he stays in there..I like what I see but just like I am not ready to crown Bob the next Roy, Hasek, Brodeur for what he did in a short season I am not ready to proclaim McGinn an every day player.

I didn't mean to imply that he'd be as good as Hartnell, but I do mean to say that I think he'd be a sufficient enough replacement that we could get rid of Hartnell and still be just fine.

Maybe Giroux is affecting Hartnells play as much as hartnell is affecting Giroux? Much rather move Hartnell to another line before we just get rid of him. I still think he Giroux and Voracek turn it around.

What really sucks is that holmgren doesn't learn from his mistakes.Briere exercized the rights that holmgren gave him and screwed the team. Never assume that the player will do what is best for the team

How many teams are interested in trading for Hartnell and how many teams would Hartnell be willing to waive his NMC for?

I can't see him going anywhere although I do think he could be successful up in Vancouver.

Hartnell trade talk heating up again? Must be around the corner from thanksgiving.

And Pavel Datsyuk continues to show why he is still the best player in the league. I hate that he lit up the Flyers, but man he is fun to watch.

Giroux needs another guy that can create space to alleviate some pressure off him as trying to do it all is clearly affecting his game. Hartnell lines up at the slot or crease and waits to be fed. He creates nexts to nothing for a top line player. Apply nearly all the pressure to G and the top line becomes totally ineffective. I would like to see Vinny come back and play on the top line. Whether it be as LW or C(moving G to the wing). Give Coots the keys to the 2nd line with Hartnell and Read.

He should be playing over Rosehill. And I'd move Raffl to that top line if (IF) it's between the 2 of them, he had some nice speed. Personally, I'd have Schenn there, he's looked good the last 3 games.
