If we're including Omark, I want Crosby coming back our way.
I don't mean that I'd say, hey Nashville... Here's Yakupov, Marincin, and a 2nd round pick (or something) for Jones... I'd start off with just Yak... Those three assets are just as far as I'd be willing to go. - laughs2907
Its gonna take more than Omark.
Any chance we could pry Ward and Faulk from Carolina? |

Ward is terrible. Go after a young guy...Allen, Holtby or Markstrom. With LaBarbera you're improved, IMO. |

If that was Smid punching Kadri in the back like that this message board would be off the hook

I'd be furious if Kadri flopped like a dead fish to the ice from a tiny lil shove in the back, especially on the blue line in O.T.
The soft play all over the ice from both teams last night was enough to make my stomach churn. It was only fitting that Nuge's ridiculously soft play was costly.

I would give u labarbie a 1st rounder smid lander and a alright prospect or two - Killbot460
Yeah seems right. I'd love to try and wrangle one of your stars out of Edmonton, but the Sens would have to add a lot to get that done, which I don't think is a position they are in right now. In all seriousness it's Anderson who likely gets traded, next year. |

i wsa saying last year that the oil should be in the market for a gaolie and got roasted for it. the real question management would have to be asking, do we wait till the ufa season and ride duby, cut our losses and draft high again? ( to me thats not the right move) or like previoulsy posted, see what bryz, theodore might be asking for.
nest years crop of ufa goalies arent to bad. edm showed last night, that if they have some solid 'tending they are a real threat.
http://www.capgeek.com/fr...osition_id=G&fa_type_id=2
personally if he could be had for cheap, and wanted to come to edm. theodore is a good choice. - munky123
The 2014 UFAs look pretty decent too. The Oilers would have to resign Dubnyk to make it to the 2015 UFA class and I doubt Duby is willing to sign a 1 year extension at this point in his career.

I wouldn't sign either of those guys long-term, but yeah, they could be a short-term solution until UFA season starts... Yeah, there's some pretty good goalies on that list... That certainly is another option.

Ward has won a cup, gold medal at the worlds, a conn smythe, an All-Star appearance as well as some pretty decent accomplishments in his Junior career. We are not improved with LaBarbera. That's like saying the Leafs improved by getting Raycroft for Rask. |

Prospect or already in teh league? Cowen could work, but he's looked shaky but has a ton of potential. Ceci looks like he will be great, but is still in the minors, will likely get some call ups some time this season, which how terrible to Sens D has been. |

If Dubnyk continues to play like he has, he'd be lucky to sign a 1 year deal in a beer league. |

Ward hasn't won poop in many years. He's not good right now.
I said go after one of those young guys who, along with Labarbera, you're improved. |
