fair, but I really do think I would be just as p*ssed as Oilers fans were if the non-call was the other way and the gwg occurred on the same play.
I know it seems weak to blame the refereeing, but sometimes you really do feel like the refs cost you the game or at least cost a shot at it. - Aetherial
Well yes sometimes they do, and if this were a 1-1 game or scoreless, I would agree, but not the case, the oil had their chances and blew it. |

I would probably feel the need to blame the refs if I lived near the Pacific Ocean. Salty air and overcast skies is the only explanation for such poor sport behaviour . - Jeropotato

Truth. A lousy 5 goals. They need at least 7. |

It's cool to see old WWF pics. I can't stand that poop anymore. When I liked it there were more great tag teams, like Men on a Mission, the Godwinns, Smoking Guns and the Body Donnas. That was pretty much the peak of tag team wrestling though. - Jeropotato
In the late 80's/early 90's they had (frank)ing awesome tag teams. Hollywood Blonds, Harlem Heat, The Rockers, Money Inc., The British Bulldogs, Powers of Pain, Power and Glory, The Hart Foundation, Demolition, The Steiners, Rock and Roll Express, The Road Warriors, Bushwhackers, Natural Disasters, The Twin Towers, The Headshrinkers, Killer Bees, The Brain Busters, The Nasty Boys, Strike Force... Awesome stuff. |

Dubnyk;
"It's disappointing," said Dubnyk. "I think it's disappointing for all of us. In a game we deserved to win, to come out with one point is disappointing. It's not what we deserved last night and we played well enough to win a game and if we keep doing that then we're going to be on the right side."
The back-stop was encouraged however, by the way the team has been coming together knowing that last night was one of, if not their best game of the season.
"I thought we out-played them. I thought we played a real good game. We worked hard, we got pucks in and we moved pucks up. Guys were in good spots. There were just a couple of small things and that's it. A bounce here or a save there and we're on the right side of that game.
Like I said, if we play like that and work as hard as we did we're going to win a lot of games in a row. It'll happen and it's going to happen soon. We're right there from starting to rattle off a bunch of wins in a row."

I read most of the comments on here and no one has mentioned that Justin Shultz was caught way out of position on that game winner kid needs to improve defensively, also that Belov pulled a Casper the Ghost and did nothing to help Dub defensively, he didn't even take one of the three Leafs. Nuge also made a rookie mistake by turning up on the circles instead of getting it deep.
Dub hasn't been good with all the bad goals and is yet to let in fewer than four goals in a game ouch. That's not my real concern what is are the next 6 games we could easily lose making us 1 9 1 which would be almost impossible to come back from. The best outcome will be 3 3 against the Caps twice and pens once and are three best chances for a win coming from Ottawa and the Islanders and Habs. Which would make us 4 6 1 which we could come back from especially with Sam coming back soon after that. Remember though this is the best possible outcome. If the worst outcome happens there will most likely be a push for a goalie or coach change. With not a lot of improvement in either these areas this could be a long year. I still say Mac T should have coached and Brian Burke be the GM.
Anaheim is destroying the Sens right now Anderson already pulled not even 5mins in the game. Final thoughts hopefully Dub finds his game and the team as a whole gets better with the turnovers and defensive play which has been poor. Also some coaches come in and change a team for the good maybe Eakins isn't are answer, were lucky Jonesu and Perron, Gorden have turned out as good as they have Perron needs to watch the penalties though. Arcobello has proven he belongs in the NHL but needs to finish could have easily sealed the game last night. |

Lol...I was totally fishing when I listed of teams from by far the worst era of tag team wrestling....but then you reminded of some awful teams from the hey days. Bushwhackers ? Lame.Strike Force? A French Canadian and a Mexican who spent 30 years in the pros lying on the mat with a look on his face like he was giving birth ( high end Jabroni) and the Rock N Roll express? How that team ever won even a scripted match is beyond me. They didnt even have the god damned common courtesy of doing some steroids. |

Yeah what the fuk was Duby doing last night? I think he needs to read Goalies For Dummies 101. He needs to really read over & over the chapter about how to play PROPER positional goaltending. Kadri's goal was like WTF? |
