Oilers are going to live and die with Dubnyk this year. MacT doesn't have the assets to get a good goalie, we have no prospects in OKC, we can't afford to trade any of our decent players, so we're stuck with this bunch of crap on the ice for another season. The best we could do is trade this year's first (Top 5 pick for sure) to get Ryan Miller and try desperately to resign him. No other starting goalie is on the market. Dubnyk has screwed us all. Another year of looking up at the Flames and their rather successful rebuild. - oil2k6
Oh stfu. I know they've started poorly but seriously dude it's only a few games in. Check back and see how quickly the Oilers have started in previous seasons. |

It wouldn't be straight up i dont think. I doubt Sens would have to add much though, he showed what he can do last night, keeping the Sens in a game vs The sharks they had no business being in - david22
Yes but the Sens still need to add more specially if they want Eberle. |

Trade Hall. That's what would be best....get a goalie + and have rnh/ebs be the leaders. Too many cooks in the kitchen now. - FLflames34

How abou trade none of the four and act like this when calgary has there stars - Oilers42
Right so hand on to everyone and list them all as UNTOUCHABLES and continue the never ending rebuild as if everything is right on course . It might be early but I think the Flames are maybe proving that sometimes you have to let go of someone in order to bring in pieces that the team needs. A team with 14 franchise players might not be that well off when they come up agains a team that has the heart and the desire to win |

Only problem is Millers age. - david22
He has at least 4-5 years of solid performance in him. Hes been relatively healthy minus some groin issues that hes always rebounded from. Hes shown no signs of breaking down or anything that would indicate hes getting "old" |

Leafs were missing there best defensive forward Kulimen, best defensive D Fraser and Clarkson who has yet to play. Had they been playing not a chance the Oilers would have scored 5 goals - sarasotamike
Lol, even when you win the excuse train fires up. I remember Kulemin being trade bait for tons of you last year. |

As much as I'm enjoying this at the moment, I still think we will have a tough year. But unless you guys find an answer to your goaltending issues... Anything is possible... |

The year before last the Oilers were near the top of the western conference until sometime in November. Might be early? Lol. |

The point is that allot of people say that we have all of these untouchables. It's sure nice watching the Oilers lose with them. You have to give to get, and Smid will not cut it in a trade. even with an Omark throw in, |

Agreed. Goaltending is still the wild card for Calgary too...but at least they can afford it to be. The Oil need to at least be 9th if not better this year. |

HOLDING! Wtf??!!?? - JLO961
Know what? you're right....he held him up, then pushed him away with a foot over foot trip...all within a second...while the puck was still there...so holding would prob be the right call...if the ref wanted to call it |

Still no thanks,Lehner should be the Oil target, and if the Oil do go for Miller,I don't believe the Oil would not offer any of the Hall/Nudge/Yak/Eberle,The Oil need a Goalie for the Future no just a One season or two Goalie,Lehner fits well for the Oil Future. |

And good luck addressing it, the right way, without giving up a blue chipper. A developed goalie is going to cost one of them....but of course, it is retarded to consider this. Riiiiiight. |

I was suggesting Hall for a goalie + . And lehrer would be a logical starting point. |
