Yup... He's not hustling, he's not battling for loose pucks, and he's constantly trying to stick handle through 4-5 players. Not good enough.

Eberle has 3 points in the past 5 games. Hemsky 2 in 5. That itself is more than Yak has done.

Eakins is going to get canned by the 25 game mark if he does not start using his talented players better. Sitting Yakupov over Will Acton, Ryan Smith etc is very inefficient. You are going to piss Yak off so bad you never see the best of him. Trade or KHL is on the horizon because Yak won't sit for long.

Eakins is mishandling this team while he tries to dictate that he is boss, what a jerk. In the NHL with guaranteed salaries this is not how to motivate millionaires, coaches lose!

That's why playoff pools are da best. Invest in a couple of different rosters in big pools for like 10/ 20 bucks per team and zang - let 'em ride.

Anyways,the main concern still a Goalie so unless the forwards can score 15 goals today Oil are screw and I don't even know if 15 goals are going to be enough today.

It's been like the others. We out shoot them, but get less bounces. You could defend JL on all the goals, but to be honest he was shaky the whole game. At some point that puck has to be stopped.

If he displayed the effort on the ice and earned that right, I'm sure Eakins would have no problem putting him in the top 6... He just hasn't been putting in the effort on the ice so far this season.
