I see parallels between the Oilers young players and Kadri.

Kadri has become an NHL'er but still has some ego and entitlement issues I think. He *is* growing up though.

I really think Eakins, given a chance, can get the Oilers guys focussed on the right things.

That Yakupov quote was disturbing, not because he is the only player who feels that way, but because he is expressing it openly when he has not proven anything.

On a bright side I heard some scouts or something on the radio on how Ryan Martindale looks great in Okc Some hope for a big skilled center, Mitch Moroz ripping poop up as well and Jujhar Khaira

I would be surprised if even the Oilers fans thought that was fair. It is the kind of suggestion that only comes from someone who hates the Leafs, without reason, to an extent that is actually pretty comical, if not sad.

I have heard, and believe that the young guns in Edmonton have a helluva attitude.

I hope for the Oiler's sake that they give Eakins enough of a chance to turn that sh1t around. It takes time, but eventually the players will have to buy in, or sit, like Yak.
