I agree.. They really need the two games this week before the break.. I don't think we can be 1 and 7 and realistically get confidence back to turn this around.. Yes it's early, but we can be buried at like 5 and 15 and hope to make the playoffs.

Just seeing the record from the past, I could see a trade if they get beat pretty bad by both teams. Homer knows he is on the hot seat. I think something is up in that office. I hope we win and just stay the course. I wasn't a huge fan of the Streit signing, only because I thought Gus could grow into his role and cheaper. I loved the Bunny and Emery signings. I think Homer will give the team this week so see if they can compete with these two teams, if not.....Who knows.

It's not that I think they aren't a good team or can't win with what they have. I understood the Streit signing, I just thought maybe they could have held off on that one. I think on paper, this is a very good team. More talented than the team in Carolina and Tampa when they won the cups. If our goaltending holds up, I think this could be a very good team. I'm not saying we are winning a cup. I don't want to see anyone go, however, Snyder and Homer have show me nothing about staying patient when this team is losing.
