My dad has a coworker that knows someone on the training staff, apparently it was vanek to Edmonton for yak and a 2nd. That was just a rumor please don't take that as I know for sure because I don't, it was a rumor they had heard.

that doesn't make the oilers a contender.. if they are making a trade i would think it would be for improved defense and/or a goalie upgrade.

However. The same could be said for Tampa Bay in goal now also.

My thought on it was that Tampa is still loaded with talent, where as Jersey is almost as in bad of shape as us it appears.

Yea I don't think Jersey is a possibility anyway. I still think the Islanders, Blues, or Flyers. However if the Flyers keep losing it wont matter

I think Ryan to St. Louis makes the most sense.
Something I have been saying since last year.
I think with Ryan the Blues would have a legit shot at the Cup.
I would be a closet Blues fan after.

Regardless. At least Ruff is gone and we are tanking like expected. I don't know if I could watch this team (frank) off into the middle of the pack again and convinve our GM that all we need to do is trade a 2nd round pick for Raffi Torres and we will be a contender

I said the same thing. It would make sense if it was miller but that will never happen with his no movement clause.

The Blues make a lot of sense.. i think the Isles do as well. Miller and a defenseman to the Isles makes them a good contender
