Having been on several sports teams during high school I'm actually ok with it. You need to loosen up everynow and then. It keeps you from being frustrated and doing something stupid in a game. It was at the end of practice too so it's not like they wasted time doing this.

This is not a youth movement when you first round projected savior of your franchise pick of 2 years ago is playing on the 4th line between 2 goons. Give me a freaking break. If we were losing and the kids were playing big minutes that's one thing but when they are getting 6 minutes a game give me a franking break

On top of that going into the 3rd period John Scott had more time on the ice than Grigorenko. If you are going to rebuild commit to it don't give me this half assed that's where he slots answers

Fact is that draft pick needs to get it together . Nobody wants to see Grigorenko be amazing more than me . Fact is he sucks right now . The game seems to way to fast for him and he shows no desire . He should not be playing and being rewarded for his lack luster play . Even on a line with Girgenson . Girgenson would be in the corner forechecking fighting for the puck and Grigorenko would just be crossing the blue line . He is being screwed by the transfer rule , not being able to go to the AHL . But he just not belong in the NHL either . We would be better off sending him back to Junior .

Yes I will explain - First of Stafford is actually playing inspired hockey , The last three games . The 63-21-82 line has probably been our best line ( not saying much ) What little time Grigorenko is on the ice he is just going through the motions . No Matter who he is on the ice with . I really thought that game he was on the line with Girgensons would be the turning point . But he was always way behind the play just going through the motions.

I do not hate Grigorenko . I hope he turns into the next great Russian NHL player . But he is not cutting it right now . No matter who he plays with . I have friends that are NHL scouts and that is their opinion as well . The kid needs to find another gear .

Grigorenko Girgensons and Flynn were our best line last week and he breaks them up. They (coaching staff) are not letting him play to his strengths. They have him so worried about defense. Last game he did compete but nobody would notice as he only played 6 minutes
