I can't speak to Yakupov's ability to follow directions. The fact that he was the leading goal scorer in last year's shortened lockout season, on a team brimming with top 6 talent, speaks volumes about the coach, not the player, to me.

He played on Hall's wing much of last season. The coach had different line configurations at the start of this season. As the old adage goes...."if it ain't broke, don't fix it" appears to hold true here. I'm not so concerned about Yakupov's attitude as I am on his ability to perform at a certain level consistently.

Not a great week for the 'Fartbox Tongue Punchers'... I'm up 33 points with only tonights games to go but I've only put up 261 points.

Pierre Lebrun reported that Edmonton is on Miller's no trade list. He could change his mind but I have a sense the Oilers are gunning for Myers or Ehrhoff. Just a hunch.
