Girgensons, Grigorenko and Flynn had a great game a couple nights ago, Then all of the sudden Grigorenko was taken off that line and put on the 4th line?

They are worried too much about his D game, Let him play and go out to create offense. It is what he is good at. We did not draft him to play defense.

i thought that line was the best of that game while they were together.. Grigs made some nice plays with the puck.. then boom he was banished to the 4th line

Gretzky had no hustle whatsoever. Not all players have to play erratic and careless. There is way too much confusion between a lack of heart, and having the poise and patience to make the right play.

When he was playing Girgensons? In the scrimmage? Or with him? Grigrenko hasn't gone past the face off dots in the offensive zone because of this system. Rolston isn't showing him anything IMO. I'd be a pretty p!sssd off 19 year old if they won't let him do what he does best.

My point exactly. Playing your top offensive prospect can do no extra harm to a team that is the worst in the NHL.

he did not hustle more but i felt like he was not completely useless during that game.. he should he can be good, he needs seasoning with real players

As is Grigo. Like Myers, he has those long strides that cover more ground than most. I'm willing to bet that he is much faster than guys like Ennis who may seem quick, but have extremely short strides that are great for agility, but not overall speed. To counter the inconsistency argument, Grigo consistently played well toward the end of last year when he was given top line PP minutes and flashes of 1st line 5v5 minutes. Right now, because he's getting sent down for practically no reason whatsoever, he's playing uncomfortably, much more conservative, and a lot more hesitant than he should be. He's afraid of making mistakes and getting poop on even more by Rolston.

It all revolves around how much they value Ehrhoff. I personally think he'd be their #1, and would be a solid top pairing partner with Justin Schultz, but if they overvalue their own guys, they could see him as less than what he should be.

The oilers have shown past interest in Myers, so I wouldn't be surprised if he somehow fits into the trade. ESP if we take out Vanek. In that vase I could also see Stafford included. EDM has inquired about him in the past too.

Seems like any deal will totally hinge on whether or not Miller will agree to re-sign there as part of the trade.
