Grigo would not put up any #'s with Van and CoHo if RR played them together for 2 games. They'd need to play for 10+ games together.

The bottom line is that the talent level on this team is very, VERY negligible.

Far too many years were wasted on the false hope of 'The Core' leading this team.


Drafting good players is great but this organization needs to find a way to be able to lure quality free agents to Buffalo. That starts at the top with Pegula. He needs to make a solid business decision and cut ties with Darcy and bring in a respected GM that can change the culture here.

But why bring Risto back if it's just a maintenance day? I don't see Zadarov being sent to juniors this quickly, especially after such a solid game. If so, that shows even more ineptitude in the front office. The kid has 9 "free" games to play here, and he played well in his first.

They assigned him to Rochester but I don't think he's actually been sent there. He may still be here practicing with the team. I didn't see anything on Rochester's site saying that he joined the team there.

If Zadorov were sent back to Juniors, someone on twitter, be it here or in London, would have found out and posted it by now.

Even Luke Adam had some success up there though, so at least give the kid some shifts on the top 2 lines.

With the effort everyone is praising Stafford for lately, it's still not resulted in much. Ott has resulted in no offense, so Grigorenko isn't exactly going to hurt us by moving up for some decent time on one of the top 2 lines, IMO.
